December in Cancun, Mexico – trading winter white for sandy white beaches

Domingo, the porter working the lobby entrance, told me we picked a good time to come. October through January has the best weather hot, but not too hot. After January, he said, it can get brutally hot. He was right. The mornings began warm enough to sit outdoors for breakfast without a jacket and the temps gradually increased until it was hot enough for swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand.

All day long.....Can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. Well, maybe dancing...but not today.

Wondering if this is where we learn to build visions of the big life ahead.?.?

With a week at the beach, we pretty much had time for everything. We played putt-putt golf, built castles in the sand, and yes, we had a massage on the beach!

Learning to golf from an expert. Can’t beat that at five year’s old.

Being at the beach is such a treat, I want to be reminded of it every second. Having an Oceanside view is perfect. Even at night when I can’t see it, the sound of the wind whispering through the palms mixes with the surf for a lovely lullaby. Always the best sleep I ever get.
Sunrise on my last day in Cancun. Thank you.
Saying goodbye is always hard. Walking on the beach at sunrise on the last day and I’m dreaming of my next seaside vacation. What a glorious trip. Thank you, Cancun!
